Nerja is an ideal resort for a wedding. It´s compact but yet has everything your guests will need for an enjoyable holiday. There are hundreds of accommodation options, hotels, guesthouses, apartments and villas at all price levels. Whether they intend to make it their annual holiday and stay for 7 or 14 nights or if they can only manage a few nights. There are a multitude of options available.

I’m not sure words can express quite how brilliant Patty was throughout our entire wedding planning journey. She was incredibly articulate and paid attention to every detail which meant our day ran so smoothly and was the perfect, most magical day.Initially, after contacting Patty, we spoke over facetime several times and then arranged a visit out to Spain. We had meetings which were very professional and well organised, she knew exactly what she was doing. Patty had sent over all the options and information we needed promptly which meant the planning would begin quickly. She did this as I was going back to work soon, again catering for our lifestyle. During our visit, we had the food taster which was incredible, there was a lot of food but it was amazing. All the suppliers were lovely, we got to meet the photographer, have beauty trials and meet the celebrant. All of our choices I was really pleased with. We have been coming to Nerja for 15 years so know the place well. It’s gorgeous, such a beautiful place for a wedding.When we flew out for the wedding, Patty met with us, collected all decorations and was ahead of the game with it all. She made us feel very at ease and as relaxed as we could as she took care of everything for us.
On the day of the wedding, I would really recommend Lee who was our guitarist. Many of our guests commented on how brilliant he was, along with our celebrant Amanda, she was lovely.One of the biggest positives with Patty was on the day of our wedding she went the extra mile with details for us. She was also checking I had a drink in hand, tidied the bridal suit and put the air conditioning on for us going home at the end of the night without us knowing. She was just brilliant. The whole day ran smoothly and we couldn’t have chosen a better planner for us.

We first met Patty in November 2019, after we got engaged in July. Me being Spanish and having met Wes in Nerja when he lived in Spain while we were both teenagers, meant that we both fell in love with this place, and it was always very special to us. Patty made us feel very at ease from day 1- always listening to what we wanted and always being honest.
The second visit was during the pandemic, August 2020, at which point we knew the wedding was likely to be postponed to 2022. Despite this, Patty kept up her enthusiasm and energy to get the ball rolling with everything.
On Christmas 2021 we went back to Spain to visit family in Almuñécar and we met up with Patty to run through the final details for our postponed date, 3rd June 2022. At this point we both felt a bit low and disappointed with the Covid numbers rising again and felt scared that our day wouldn’t go ahead. Patty was not having any of this- she boosted up our spirits and made us see that it would be possible to have the best day of our lives. Her communication with us via email, text message and video calls was consistent and made us aware of every little update on rules and regulations during the unprecedented covid times. I don’t think we would have managed without her!
Patty is an incredibly dedicated and passionate person who clearly loves what she does for her couples. We are so happy that Patty helped us with our wedding, and she will be someone we will definitely keep in touch with and visit when we return to Nerja. We would definitely recommend Patty to any couple who wants to have the best day of their lives.
The week of the wedding Patty was great at keeping us informed of every little detail and we had our last meeting with her before the big day. So full of energy and sassy- the main reason why we love her! The day of the wedding Patty came to meet me and my family, brought the bouquet and met my parents, which was lovely. She also made Wes and his best man and brother, Connor, feel at ease while they were waiting and setting up for the ceremony. She couldn’t have been more organised if she tried. The day ran so smoothly- despite my dad having a bit of a funny turn- and Patty couldn’t have been any more helpful and caring during this time- we can’t thank her enough.
